Mancathalon

My son is a member of a wolfpack.  It's a group of guys he grew up with and they are really close friends.  They even have matching t-shirts.  Here is a photo from one of the wolfpack members recent wedding.

Some of these guys recently got together for the second annual mancathalon.

 I'd never heard of such a festivity but the participants spent the weekend competing in the following: 

Hot Dog Eating Contest
Beer Tasting - 12 Beers, Name That Beer
Go Cart Races
Horse Shoes
Guess the Song
Video Game Play-off
The Battle of the go carts
Final Rounds of the Competitions
So as I was thinking about the mancathalon and I was thinking how much fun it would be to have a Woman-athalon, Femalathon or a She-athalon.  What competitions could we hold?  The whole event got me thinking about a fun girl's weekend!!!

    we are womanathon! I love it, we could have a huge slumber party with chocolate and ice cream eating, a who can cry the most movie marathon...oh, the possibilities!

    Oh! this so much fun. You could have the following games.
    What to make from four ingredients in 30 minutes
    What to make from a yard of fabric in 30 minutes
    Guess the weight of the fruit cake
    Name that plant/flower/vegetable

    I am getting a bit carried away but it sounds like it could be alot of fun.

    I think the mancathalon is an excellent idea! Not enough men get together for bonding experiences like we women do. I would heartily endorse my husband finding his own wolfpack...

    I love Pondside's ideas, but really, getting together for a glass of wine and a long chat as often as possible is good enough for me. ♥
