Come on up to the front porch!
I hope you will spend a little time just enjoying some time on the swing and taking in the view.
We've been repainting and adding a few architectural details.
And nothing like recycling some old balustrade to make a side table.
Add some art by Christine Sibley
A window box
And friends, and you've got a PORCH PARTY!
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoy all the great porches joining Rhodi's Third annual Porch Party!

Jojo, this is adorable! And you have a window box!!!! Oh, I'm so jealous. Your house is wonderful. Love the porch and the yard.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy Summer on the Porch! I'm a little late to Rhondi's party, but I got held up with technical difficulties. Long story. LOL!
XO,
Sheila :-)
I love elevated porches and oh that swing. I grew up with a porch swing on out front porch.
ReplyDeleteI am going to stop before I come up the stairs and enjoy that enchanting butterfly chair. Wherever did you get that. What a beautiful porch you have. This is my first time visiting Porch Party. Thanks and nice to meet you.
ReplyDeleteI'll be right over to rock in that pretty rocking chair on your porch - is there a better place at the end of the day?
ReplyDeleteUh, I love the porch party! Last summer I have rented an house in Nassau (bahamas) with a porch and it was fantastic to have lunch and dinner there! Have a nice day, Anita Camilla
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Nothing says Southern Porch like a swing and rocking chairs. All the little details you have added make your porch perfect. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteEverything is so cute!!!This is adorable!
XOXO
What a sweet porch and what sweet granddaughters! I love your swing and your front yard looks wonderful, too.
ReplyDeleteThose chairs on your porch are awesome, JoJo! I also love the flower holder thing underneath the window (last pic) I've always thought flowers look great under windows for some reason. Makes a place look even cozier, I guess! You have a charming life!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful porch. I bet your neighbors would love to come and sit a while.
ReplyDeleteI have to find a butterfly bench.
Hi Jojo, your porch is so lovely and perfect for a party.
ReplyDeleteThe piece of art I especially like.
Hugs

Beautiful porch!
ReplyDeletea porch party sounds divine, especially on such a lovely porch as yours!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIs there anything more charming than a porch? We love ours. We live three blocks south of the town square and neighbors are always walking by with a wave or sitting for a chat. Your's is lovely.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
It looks charming ! If only I lived closer . . .
ReplyDeleteNow that sunny days are finally here in the NW, it's time to give my front porch a little sprucing up, beginning with re-coating the armchair. I am tired of white so maybe a new color this year?
Love your porch...almost as much as mine. I do love to sit in my swing and read a good book or do some serious thinking! I have a table almost just like the one you said was made with leftovers! My husband bought it dirt cheap at an auction....I wonder if someone made it from leftovers too! Thanks so much for being a follower of my blog. Hope you'll visit from time to time.
ReplyDeleteI am so over the moon with Sibley's works. Your home is lovely. I hope I am back in time in August for the next blog gathering.
