We didn’t see them most of the summer.
And then…
And now as the summer nears an end, our hummingbird friends are finally
here!
Today I'm linking up with The Tablescaper to see what everyone's been up to this Seasonal Sunday.
SOME OF MY FAVORITE THINGS
We love our hummingbirds here! Your photos are wonderful - I have trouble catching ours, since I usually have to open a door photograph them. So glad for you that they finally showed up!!
ReplyDeleteDiane, we were thrilled for them to finally arrive. The weather has been so different this year and I think it messed up the hummingbird's habits. My husband set up a tripod for us to be able to capture these shots. It's funny though, we sit outside with them and somehow they don't seemed to bothered with us.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos! How neat to be able to see them so close.
ReplyDeleteWonderful to have you at Seasonal Sundays.

I really love your photo of the hummers. We have some hummers that are here year long but do have more in the spring and summer. You really are fortunate to get such good photos. Our birdies don't mind us sitting on the porch but if we get up or make a sudden move they zip away. They have flown to within inches of my hubby when is wearing a red shirt.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are enjoying them now.
Have a great weekend, Ginger
Love those tiny happy hummers!
ReplyDeleteAren't they magical?

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen even one this year. Maybe there's still hope. I'll keep looking.
