I'll be posting pictures soon but we are so excited that my daughter Mimi was invited to perform at the Beirut Music & Arts Festival! She arrived late last night our time, after nearly 24 hours of travel. After getting a good night's rest, she started rehearsing this afternoon. Two weeks of incredible music every night.
P.S. I'm not proud!
How fabulous! Brag to your heart's content--just share it all with us!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Oh my goodness! That is fantastic! When I was a girl I remember my parents having recordings from the Baalbeck festival. This is huge and I can only imagine how proud you must be of your Mimi!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your daughter! What a wonderful experience and how exciting for her parents...brag on!
ReplyDeleteSERIOUSLY cool! I'm sure we're all hoping the same thing...that there is a designated photographer for documenting this extraordinary experience!
ReplyDeleteI think maybe you should go.
Congratulation, MimI!
WOW! Very very exciting! Of course you are proud---why wouldn't you be--That Is Just FABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about the festival but it sounds wonderful. I know you are soooo proud of your daughter and rightly so. I hope she has much fun and a safe trip.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting, my daughter went to Russia when she was 16 with her cello to open the Saint Petersburg Music Festival with her high school orchestra.
