WE HAVE SNOW!!!! I just swept off the front steps, then the walkway. Afterwards I sat on the front porch. It's amazing outside . . . all is calm, all is bright. How lovely, even if only for a short while.

I live in Indiana, where we get snow quite regularly all winter long - - - and I STILL feel awe and wonder at the beauty, stillness, and QUIET of a glittery snowy night.

The north just doesn't get our problem here in the south - it is the hills and curves and ice we fight - the snow is great.
